IT Sales - Business Development Manager

Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and dynamic individual to join our team as a Business Development Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for generating new business opportunities by engaging in cold calling, lead generation, and arranging meetings with potential customers. Additionally, you will respond to customer visits, incoming emails, and phone inquiries to address their needs and provide relevant information about our products and services. 


Conduct cold calling activities to identify and contact potential customers, with the aim of arranging meetings to prospect for new business.
Gather market and customer information to understand their needs and preferences.
Generate customer queries and send offers, while actively negotiating on price, costs, delivery, and specifications with buyers and managers.
Advise customers on forthcoming product developments and discuss special promotions to drive sales.
Create detailed proposal documents, often as part of a formal bidding process, which align with prospective customer requirements.
Review and evaluate your own sales performance to meet or exceed targets set by the company.
Develop a clear understanding of customers' businesses and requirements to effectively address their needs.
Make accurate and rapid cost calculations, providing customers with comprehensive and competitive quotations.


Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the IT industry with a focus on sales or hardware/software products.
Strong negotiation abilities to achieve mutually beneficial agreements.
Proficient in creating persuasive proposal documents and engaging in formal bidding processes.
Strong analytical skills to make accurate cost calculations and provide competitive quotations.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with customers and internal teams.
Ability to analyze market trends and customer preferences to identify new business opportunities.
Goal-oriented mindset with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
